Alain Burq, 54, has a thirty year international experience in the oil and gas industry.
He started his career in the service station department of Total in Germany. He then moved to Iran to work for Gaz de France on the engineering and construction of a gas distribution network. He then participated in an underground gas storage project in Irak and a gas transportation project in Argentina.
After a consulting appointment with the World Bank for a geothermal project in the Philippines, Alain continued his career in the contracting business with Spie Batignolles, both onshore and offshore, in the project financing for pipelines and petrochemical plants in all continents.
He currently works as a financial expert for an Eurostoxx 50 Industrial B to B Company.
Alain is a graduate of the Paris Business School (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris) and holds an MBA from the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania, USA).
