Patrick Sarrazin was born in 1962 and holds engineering degrees of "HEI - École des Hautes Études Industrielles" (France) and IFP School, a part of IFP (the French Institute of Petroleum). He also holds a PhD from the University of Lille (France).
He is Vice President for Refining & Petrochemicals with IFP.
Patrick started his career in 1988 as research engineer in catalysis at IFP, before joining Procatalyse in 1994 as Technical Manager and later Marketing Manager. In 2001, he joined PSA Peugeot Citroën as Manager of the Automotive Depollution Businesses. From 2002 to 2005, he was Head of Axens Conversion Product Line.
