Jean-Alain Taupy
Jean-Alain Taupy is DME Global Downstream Development Senior Manager within Total.
Jean-Alain started his career as professor of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering before joining the Refining & Marketing Division of Total where he held various positions in IT, supply, finance, logistics, and internal audit. Until he took his present position in 2006, he has been senior adviser to the President of Total Gas & Power for three years.
He is graduated as an engineer from the “Ecole Centrale de Paris”, in political sciences from the Institute of Political Sciences of Paris and with a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Paris Sorbonne.
Jean-Alain Taupy is Vice Chairman of the International DME Association and Total’s representative at the World LPG Association.
