PROCEDURE

You can register according to the two following options:

• by secure online registration and payment: click here to register.
  Please note that online registration involves payment by credit card only (Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, American Express);

• by fax or regular mail: please print the registration form, complete it, sign it and send it to the Conference Office accompanied by your payment. Please click here to download the PDF registration form.

Registration requests or changes by phone will be not taken into consideration.

Only registration applications accompanied by the appropriate payment will be processed.

Please refer to the table below for registration categories and deadlines.
Registration fees are to be settled in euros.

Upon receipt of your registration (online, by fax or regular mail) and after payment clearance, the Conference Office will mail you an invoice/confirmation letter summarizing all registration and reservation details and specifying the payment status.
This confirmation letter should be presented upon your arrival at the World CTL Conference pre-registration desk.

Modifications:
For changes in registration, a processing fee of 30 € will be charged, except for name substitutions which will be treated as new registrations.
All changes must be requested in writing to the Conference Office.

* Group fees applicable to the 5th corporate representative and any additional ones from the same company.
** This category applies to intergovernmental, national and local government agency representatives.

- Registration fees have to be settled in euros, VAT included.
- VAT (Value Added Tax) is calculated at 19.6% at date of printing (November 2007). For more information on VAT and VAT claim, please see further below on this page.
- The registration fee includes: participation to the conference sessions, access to the exhibition area, coffee breaks, lunches and Conference Reception.

VAT AND VAT CLAIM

According to the European Tax Legislation, organizers of international conferences have to invoice all services with 19.6% French Value Added Tax (VAT, known as TVA in French).Foreign companies or individuals are, under certain conditions, entitled to a refund of the VAT paid.
The companies not belonging to the European Union have to appoint a French Tax representative in order to apply for a tax refund. For VAT reclaim, a French N° 3559 form must be completed and sent to:

This claim should be sent within one month after the quarter during which the payment has been made. Members of the EU can reclaim the VAT directly in their own country.
For further information about refund claims, you can contact our French Tax Representative or TEVEA International, specialised in handling VAT refund claims. They can assist you with the entire procedure for a fee of 54 € +8 -11% depending on the VAT amount.

PAYMENT

The Organizing Committee has given a mandate to MCI for the organization of the First World CTL Conference and therefore to act and receive the fees on its behalf.
The payment of the registration fees is to be made in euros only, by:

• credit card (Visa / Master Card / Eurocard / American Express);

• check in euros to the order of World CTL 2008 / MCI and sent to:

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

All cancellations must be notified in writing (by fax or regular mail BUT NOT email) to the Conference Office according to the conditions hereafter.

Requests for refunds made after June 30th, 2008 will not be considered.

Potential refunds will be processed after the Conference.

The conditions below apply to both registration and accommodation cancellations:

• Up to 5th December 2007: 100 euros will be withheld as administrative fee.
• Cancellations between 6th December 2007 and 31st January 2008: refund of 50% of the agreed fees and deposits.
• After 31st January 2008: no refund.

No registration fee refund will be issued for cancellation or non-attendance due to failure to obtain a visa.
